With version 2.66, we bring a slew of new features and improvements to the 47, it feels like a whole new bird!
To start, this release includes an optional and switchable IFR panel. With a CDI, DG, and ASI, you are no longer limited to pure VFR navigation. A Garmin GNS 430 compliments the new nav-stack to help you find your way.
All new atmospheric physics take many factors into consideration for performance calculations. Watch out for high Density Altitude environments!
Handling is improved too! Enjoy new physics-based ground handling, which supports running take-offs and landings. In the air, cyclic feel and throttle response have both been improved.
Additionally, we've added support for MSFS helipads and helicopter control bindings.

We're excited to announce a huge update to the FlyInside B-47! This amazing helicopter now supports floats, allowing for water landings and taxiing. Enjoy three new floats-only liveries, as well as water capable versions of all of our existing liveries.
Custom physics allows for challenging water handling, and a bouncy feel when landing on hard ground. Both skid and float versions come with new particle effects, supporting dirt kick-up and water spray.
An equivalent X-Plane update is still under development. The water handling and effects code is different for both and we're still working on it.

We're excited to announce a major update to the FlyInside B-47, released simultaneously for MSFS and X-Plane! We've enhanced the flight model to match improvements made to the the later version of the engine, and given it a fresh from the shop overhaul as well. You'll have 220hp continuous available along with 240hp for 2-minutes maximum. This means better performance with a bit more MP available. Try it at high altitude!
Pay close attention to the engine temp gauges in your cockpit for overstress indications, along with charted limits. Placards are visible in the cockpit and also reprinted in the manual. Engine failures aren't usually fun... unless you like to perform touchdown autorotations.
In addition you'll find new static blade droop and dynamic blade coning effects.
